Agra, situated in the Golden Triangle alongside Delhi and Jaipur, is a prime tourist destination, drawing in a staggering 71.05 lakh Indian and foreign tourists last year. With the Taj Mahotsav approaching, ADA aims to enhance the Agra experience for travelers.
Last month, ADA invited applications from businesses interested in offering hot air balloon rides. Following a thorough selection process, Sky Voltz emerged as the chosen one-a top-tier hot air balloon flying company in the nation. Ritu Maheshwari, the Divisional Commissioner, has given the green light for hot air balloon flights to commence ahead of the Taj Mahotsav, scheduled from February 17 to 27.
The hot air balloon ride, scheduled to kick off on February 15 and run until February 20, promises a spectacular one-hour journey at sunrise. Covering a distance of 2.5 to 4 km from the western direction to the eastern direction of the Taj Mahal, this ride is set to provide a breathtaking aerial view of the city's landmarks. ADA Vice President Charcha Gaur mentions that initially, there will be one balloon available, but more can be added based on demand.
