The country's untouched land, Devbhoomi Uttarakhand has got its first semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express which is India's 18th train successfully inaugurated on 25th May 2023 from Dehradun to Delhi's Anand Vihar terminal virtually by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Both Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Uttarakhand CM, Pushkar Singh Dhami were in attendance at the Dehradun train station during the inaugural run of Uttarakhand's first Vande Bharat Express train.
The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express is expected to begin service on May 29 and will travel the 302 km journey in just under 5 hours, basically 4 hours and 45 minutes to be precise, according to reports.
Currently, the time it takes to travel by rail from Delhi to Dehradun ranges from 05 hrs 50 mins to 11 hrs 55 mins, depending on the specific train. For example, Shatabdi Express on the same route takes 6 hours and 10 min.
But, you can now get to your destination in less than 5 hours thanks to the new Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express which is surely going to be one of the most convenient ways to travel from Dehradun to Delhi and vice versa.
Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express Schedule:
The express train will run every day of the week except Wednesday. At 5:50 PM, the train, 22457 will leave Anand Vihar Railway Station and arrive at the station in Dehradun at 10:35 PM.
