Bhimakali Temple is an important religious site in Mandi located on the banks of the river Beas. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Bhimakali, the family deity of the Bushahar rulers of Mandi. Displaying a beautiful architectural style, this temple has a large museum showcasing various statues and images of Hindu gods and goddesses. According to a legend, the Hindu God Krishna fought a great war against Banasura, a demon king, at this site and buried his head in earth.

Built by the Yadava rulers, this temple offers a beautiful view of Shrikhand mountain peak. Thousands of devotees visit this temple every year on the occasion of Kali Puja.
