The NTR garden, located in Hyderabad, is a small park that is immensely popular among the local population because of its geographical location as well as the scenic view the Garden offers. The NTR Garden is built right next to the Hussian Sagar Lake thus making it an often visited garden. The place specially filed with fun and activity during the evenings when families come out to spend quality time with their loved ones.
The work on the Garden was begun in 1999 to honor the memory of N.T. Rama Rao who was not only a celebrated actor, but was also a noted politician. In fact, he had been the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and had carried out major reforms to make the state what it is today. The work on the Garden was carried out in several phases mainly because of the controversies attached to it. The Gardens were finally opened to the public in 2001.
