Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park or KBR National Park is located in the posh Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad. Within the premises of the park is the Chiran Palace belonging to Prince Mukarram Jah. The KBR Park has often been described as a jungle amidst the concrete jungle. The palace along with the surrounding area was given the status of a national park in the year 1998. The area was also renamed and only the palace retained its original name.

The park sees a lot of activity during the early morning and late evening hours because plenty of people come here for fresh air and to exercise. You can spot several people either walking or jogging to keep themselves fit. The park is also home to several birds and butterflies. One can also spot peacocks, jungle cats, pangolins and the Indian civet in the park. Small ponds have been made at several places in the park from where the animals and birds can quench their thirst. Feeding the birds and animals is not allowed.
