Ganesh Gully, Harihareshwar

The Ganesh Gully is a small culvert – a narrow channel – situated between two mountains. Located in the town of Harihareshwar, the channel is only 3 ft wide, and at the end of it, the viewers are presented with a Lord Ganpati’s idol.

The place where the idol is found is considered to be a holy and spiritual niche, supposed to be almost 30 ft under water. It is believed that the idol is clearly visible on the niche during the tidal periods. This site makes for a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the soothing winds against the scenic backdrop of the nature.
