Dakshina Murti, Dalhousie

Dakshina Murti was established in the year 1970 by Dr. R.P. Kaushik, a noted spiritual leader, at a place named Garam Sadak. The Dakshina Murti is situated at a distance of 200 km from Subhash Chowk. This place is actually a yoga institution, which originally aimed at spreading the importance of yoga amongst common people. In addition to yoga, the institute also taught spiritualism. Although Dr. R. P. Kaushik passed away in the year 1987, his followers continued his legacy by organising regular yoga sessions and seminars in Dakshina Murti.
