Travellers visiting Aihole can also visit the Ramalinga Group of Temples that lies south of Yeniar Temples. Ramalinga Temple, which is a Trikutachala by design, is the main shrine of this cluster. This temple has Shivalingas in two cells and a Parvati figure in the third. It is believed that the temple was built during the 11th century AD and has two Kadambanagara Towers. Ramalinga Group of Temples, located on the banks of Malaprabha River, is also known to have a small mosque. The cluster of temples is also the site of the annual Car Festival that is held here between February and March.
