Akashiganga Falls

You might have seen this picturesque falls on the calendars or postcards! The indescribable beauty of Akashiganga Falls is never to be missed in Naogaon of Assam. It is the largest waterfall and also a religious place in Assam.

According to the legend, when Vishnu uses his Chakra (wheel) to disperse the corpse of Sati, her body pieces falls at different places. It is believed that Sati's head fell at this place near Akashiganga Falls. Hence, it is a pilgrimage place for the Hindus.

Sivakunda Falls

Sivakunda Falls is a dazzling beauty cascading in Amsoi Hills at Morigaon, Assam. The scenic Sal Trees and Teak Trees surround the Sivakunda Falls to give a graphic look! A small pool at the foot of the falls makes up for the ideal picnic spot for the locals. The milky white water and the pool make it one of the famous weekend getaways in Assam.

Kakochang Waterfalls

Kakochang Waterfalls is one among the best tourist places in Jorhat region of Assam. The mountains, dense forests and remnants of a historical place looks perfect along with endeavouring falls.
