Baba Sumeshwarnath

A tourist place in Dumka is the Baba Sumeshwarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees throng here in large numbers to pay respect to the lord and offer worship to him. Tourists coming here will be amazed by the crowd of devotees in and around the place. You can hear them chanting prayers and hymns all through the day. A unique offering at this temple is that of the holy water from the Ganges River. It is believed that those who offer the lord this holy water will be blessed and have his prayers answered.
