Here is a guide to the five cable car rides that travellers should take while visiting these places.
1. Gulmarg
The cable car ride is a major attraction of Gulmarg. Tourists can choose from two 5 km rides; one from Gulmarg to Kongdoor and the other from Kongdoor to Apharwat. The aerial view of the Himalayan peaks, and the Gondola Village from the cable car is breathtaking. The ride is one of the most preferred modes of sightseeing.

2.Malampuzha
If you are heading to the town of Malampuzha in Kerala then be sure to take a ride on the cable car here. It takes you over the Malampuzha Gardens and also the Malampuzha dam. You get a scenic view of the greenery of the region and also capture some of the best pictures from here.

3. Rajgir
When travelling to the town of Rajgir it is suggested to use the ropeway to reach the Ratnagiri Hills to get an astonishing view of the surrounding 7 hills of Vaibhara, Ratna, Saila, Sona, Udaya, Chhatha and Vipula. The breathtaking view is bound to leave you speechless and is a must for all adrenaline junkies!

4. Auli
What better way to take in the scenic beauty of the town of Auli other than by riding on a cable car? Travellers who come to this picturesque town, head to the gondola ride which gives them the amazing view of the nature clad region. The cover of greenery all around and the cloud touching the peaks of mountains is indeed a sight to remember.

5. Gangtok
The ropeway ride provides a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Gangtok and is a major tourist attraction. The car takes the tourists on ride high above the city from where they can enjoy a fantastic view of the entire region. It also stops at three different altitudes which adds to the experience of this scenic journey.
