Jai Vilas Mahal

Jai Vilas Mahal is one of the marvelous palaces with European architectural styles. This lavish castle belongs to Maratha Scindia Dynasty of Gwalior. Today, some portion of the palace is turned into Jiwaji Rao Scindia Museum.

The Raja Mahal is the King's Palace in the Orchha Fort Complex. Its beautiful carvings and royal décor showcases the excellent craftsmanship of those times. This amazing structure is now Rama Raja Temple where Lord Rama is worshipped as the prime deity. Interestingly, this idol of Rama was suppose to be installed in Chaturbhuj Temple but they couldn't remove the idol from the palace at all.
