Vivekananda Memorial Rock
Vivekananda Rock Memorial is one of the major tourist destinations in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Built with the purpose of human harmony and peace, this memorial dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, is also known for its beautiful architecture and the serene atmosphere that envelops the memorial structure. The memorial conprises of Vivekananda Mandapam and Shripada Mandapam.
Anna Memorial
Anna Memorial is located in Chennai. Built in loving memory of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C. N. Annadurai, the memorial is located at the Northern end of Marina beach. The memorial also houses a museum, an animal park, safari park and an aquarium. Anna Memorial is situated amidst lush greenery, with the entrance designed in an arch like the shape of an elephant tusk.
Rajiv Gandhi Memorial

Rajiv Gandhi Memorial
The Rajiv Gandhi Memprial has been built in loving memory of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, at the site of his assassination. The site is open for visiting from 10am to 5pm. There are many quotes about Rajiv Gandhi incribed at the site.
MGR Memorial
MGR Memorial in Chennai is located at Marina Beach. It is dedicated to former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.G.Ramachandran. The memorial is installed adjacent to Anna Memorial and is spread across 8.25 acres of land, with the highest footfall on the seafront.
Madras War Memorial
Madras War Memorial is another memorial in Tamil Nadu worth visiting. The memorial houses cemeteries that were built to pay tribute to those who had lost their lives during World War II. The memorial is located at Mount Poonamallee road in Tamil Nadu.
