Jagannath Temple, Puri

Chilka Lake
The lake is recognized as one of the most important wetlands in the world because it is home to a phenomenal variety of birds. Chilika Lake offers travellers a spectacular display of its colourful avian charms in a thousand different hues presented by over 160 species in the peak season between November and February. Some of the birds found during these months are ospreys, golden plovers, sand pipers, flamingos, pelicans, shovellers, gulls, include migratory ones flying great distances from Iran, Central Asia and Siberia.

Bhitarkanika National Park
The National Park is located in the Kendrapara district of Odisha and is home to endangered Salt Water Crocodile and many other species of flora and fauna. The sanctuary is the second largest mangrove ecosystem in India. A large number of water birds like Asian Open Bill, Cormorants, Darters, every year from June to October. The park becomes a paradise for bird lovers during these months.
Raghurajpur Handicrafts Village
With a picturesque green setting amongst tropical trees on the bank of the Bhargavi River, Raghurajpur is not only an attractive Indian village but one where every household is involved in a form of handicrafts. Travellers can wander around, check out the beautiful painted murals on the houses, chat to the friendly artisans and see them in action, and ofcourse shop! Visitors can go there on a day trip from Puri, which is around 15 km.
