Adoor
Adoor is located in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala and is famous for its culture, temples and festivals. It thrives on the number of temples and churches that are present here. Religious places pull in crowds throughout all seasons of the year so this is one of the popular tourist places in Kerala. The Parthasarathy Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is a major crowd puller here. Also one can shop at Moolam market which is one of the oldest markets here in Kerala. Here is how one can reach here.
Chottanikkara
Chottanikkara is a beautiful hamlet located in the suburbs of Kochin in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. It is a renowned pilgrimage center of Kerala. The Chottanikara Bhagavathi Temple is the major attraction here and it brings in large number of crowds all season. The Archaeological Museum is another prominent attraction here.

Guruvayur
The religious town of Guruvayur is located in Thrissur district of Kerala. The major attraction here is the Guruvayur Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is also called as 'Bhooloka Vaikuntam' which means 'Abode of Lord Vishnu on Earth'. One can also head to the Elephant Camp here situated at Punnathur Kotta. Check out the places for lodging here.

Idukki
Idukki is one of the must see tourist places in Kerala. Covered in dense green forest and having a backdrop of mountains , the place looks like a freshly painted canvas. It is also the home of the second largest arch dam in the world. Tourists coming here head to Thekkady where they visit the Periyar National Park.
Kasargode
The northernmost district of Kerala is Kasargode and it is famous for it's architectural structures. One of the major attractions here is the Bekal Fort which runs directly into the sea with a bay towards the south. Other places of interest here includes the Govind Pai Memorial, Deenar Mosque and more.

Kollam
Kollam is a coastal city lying on the shores of the Ashtamudi lake in Kerala. Kollam is known globally as the largest producer and exporter of cashews and is often referred to as the 'City of Cashews'. Tourists can laze around in the various beaches lining this coastal city or take a houseboat and sail down the lake.Here are a few places one can stay in.

Malampuzha
Malampuzha is a small town situated in the Palakkad district. It attracts tourists , nature lovers and picknickers in all seasons. The reservoir built here attracts many tourists to this place. There are other attraction were tourists can go like the Thread Garden, Rock Garden, Yakshi statues and more.

Malayattoor
Malayattoor, located in the Ernakulam district, is a small town sandwiched between the Western Ghats and the Periyar River. It is famous for the Churches that adorn this town. The Durga Devi Temple is also another religious attraction here. Mahagani Thottam and Moolamkuzy are also worth a visit here.
