Hyderabad's victory over so many other nations to win the renowned "World Green City Award 2022" is a source of great pride for India. The city took home the prize in the area of "Living Green for Economic Recovery and Inclusive Growth" at the 2022 World Green Cities Awards, which were presented by the International Association of Horticulture Producers (AIPH) on Friday, October 14, 2022, in Jeju, South Korea.
The fact that Hyderabad, the only Indian city to be chosen, has won the honor fills Telangana and the country of India with pride. The city was recognized for both winning the category and the overall World Green Cities 2022 award, which is the best across all 6 categories.

1) Charminar:
The Charminar is without a doubt Hyderabad's most well-known landmark. 2) Golkonda Fort:
Golconda, a medieval fort that currently overlooks the city, is one of Hyderabad's historical sites.
