From September 25, 2026, Northern Railway begins a 10‑day block at Ghaziabad Platform 4. The work replaces corroded rails and damaged sleepers. Eighteen local and passenger services are cancelled from September 25 to October 4. One Palwal–Ghaziabad EMU starts a day earlier, on September 24. Forty‑five services will berth on different platforms.
Most changes take effect today at the station. Northern Railway’s berthing plan moves 29 services to Platform 5. Another 11 shift to Platform 3, and two to Platform 6. Ghaziabad platform changes to P3, P5 and P6
Key reassignments matter for intercity riders. Train 12583 Double Decker and 15057 shift to Platform 3. Train 82501 Tejas and 12419 Gomti move to Platform 5. Train 64425 Ghaziabad–New Delhi MEMU will use Platform 6. Check NTES or station displays before boarding.
Refunds, NTES/139 and travel alternatives
Cancelled e‑ticket holders get automatic full fare refunds; avoid cancelling yourself. PRS counter tickets can be refunded at counters within notified timelines.
