For live status, call 1912 or Minnagam’s 24×7 helpline at 9498794987. Save the number and place a complaint to receive updates. Minnagam routes issues to engineers and uses WhatsApp internally for escalations. You can also log complaints on the TANGEDCO app or the CCMS portal.
Before 9 am, top up water tanks and disable elevator use during the window. Charge phones, power banks and Wi‑Fi routers. Shift refrigerators to lower use by limiting door opening. Run inverters only for lights and fans. Never back‑feed generators into sockets; use a changeover switch with an electrician.

Friday, September 25, has advance shutdown notices for parts of Maduravoyal, Tambaram, Kodambakkam, Ambattur, Taramani, Tidel Park, Tiruvanmiyur, Kundrathur, Royapuram, Kotturpuram, St Thomas Mount, Guindy, Mugalivakkam and Velachery. Recheck by noon today for any newly added feeders or revised windows.
