A Bay deep depression is making landfall along the north Andhra–south Odisha coast this morning. IMD’s sea bulletin flags 30–35 knot winds, gusting to 40, and very rough seas. Fishermen should avoid venturing and ports may suspend small-craft movement. The system will move northwest and weaken gradually through tonight. Coastal squalls and rapid cloudbursts can still cause short, dangerous flooding.

Outdoor events and schools may be rescheduled locally; monitor district orders and official channels.
