Karwar Island For Water Sports
With its perfect tropical backdrop, deep waters and swift waves, Karwar is a perfect spot for water sports. Karwar stands out not just for its extensive options for water sports, but also because for the wide sightseeing options. Some of the water sports available at Karwar are snorkelling, scuba diving, banana boat ride, kayaking and water surfing.
Devbagh is a beautiful island about ten nautical miles away from Karwar and here there are some more water sport options like canoeing, white water rafting and coracling.
Coorg River Rafting
River rafting at Coorg takes place in North Coorg (Dubare) and South Coorg (Barapole). Mountainous Coorg is one of the sought out places for White Water Rafting, as the gradient offers the best conditions for speedy waters flowing over the rocks, causing a drop in the river known as rapids and, riding through these rapids is what makes rafting an experience to cherish. Dubare is a scenic forest area known for its elephant training camp. The other major attraction of Dubare is the river rafting which takes place in the waters of river Dubare. There are two rafting options: 8.5 km and 12 km run.

Barapole, Coorg For River Rafting
River rafting at Coorg takes place in the waters of Barapole river. Rapids here have exotic names; Morning Coffee, Grasshopper, Wicked Witch and finally, Big Bang- with Morning coffee being the lowest challenging level and Big Bang is considered to be one of the most challenging rafting levels in India. This is a group activity and the cost per head is INR 1200.
Panambur Beach For Water Sports
Panambur beach is approximately 12 km from Mangalore city. This beach offers boating for children, jet-ski, and parasailing. Since the waves are too high at Panambur beach, it cannot have the other conventional water sports available at Goa, thereby extending a very unique experience. The best time to visit Panambur is between October and May.
Om Beach Gokarna For Water Sports
