Rallabandi Subbarao Museum, Rajahmundry

Rallabandi Subbarao Museum was established in the year 1967. It has its fair share of artifacts from various eras of Rajahmundry's history as a city. It is famous for its store of artifacts associated with the early cultural conditions of the city. There are terracotta figurines, pottery from ancient times, sculptures in stone, coins issued by legendary kings and several other items.

The Museum also has in its possession several rare palm leaf manuscripts. The idea behind the museum was to bring together the cultural ethos of the state of Andhra Pradesh, by the preservation and display of its artifacts. The Museum timings are from 10:30 am to 5 pm. The museum also charges a nominal entrance fee.
