The Indian Railways has announced a major change in the timetable of the Saharanpur-Gomti Nagar Vande Bharat Express. As per the new schedule, the train will now leave Saharanpur early in the morning at 5:05 AM. On the return journey, it will leave from Lucknow's Gomti Nagar station at

3:10 PM. Earlier, the plan was for the train to start from Lucknow in the morning and from Saharanpur in the afternoon, but this has now been revised.
Release of New Timetable
Railway Coaching Director Sanjay R. Neelam has released the new timetable, though the date for starting regular operations is still undecided. The Railways had announced this new Vande Bharat service between Saharanpur and Lucknow last month.
Inauguration of Saharanpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Saharanpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express on November 8. The train will take only eight hours to complete the journey, while other express trains take around 10 to 12 hours. This means passengers will save at least four hours of travel time, making their journey faster and more convenient. As per the new timing, the train will reach Gomti Nagar at 2:05 PM, and after a break of about an hour, it will leave at 3:10 PM, reaching Lucknow at 11:50 PM.
Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week, with Monday as its weekly off. It will halt at several major stations in both directions, including Gomti Nagar, Daliganj, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Najibabad, Roorkee, and Saharanpur.
During Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's visit to Saharanpur, MLA Rajiv Gumbar requested a Vande Bharat service between Chandigarh and Lucknow. The minister assured him that this service would begin soon. Earlier, a Vande Bharat train also operated between Dehradun and Anand Vihar via Saharanpur, connecting major cities with faster travel options.
