To help students appearing for the RE-NEET examination on June 21, 2026, Western Railway has announced three pairs of special trains. The decision has been taken to make travel easier for students who need to reach examination centres located far from their hometowns. The special services will also help parents and guardians travelling with candidates.

List of Special Trains for RE-NEET Exam 2026
One of the special trains will run between Maninagar in Ahmedabad and Bandra Terminus in Mumbai. Train No. 09472 will leave Maninagar at 8:30 AM on June 20 and reach Bandra Terminus at 6:15 PM the same day. The return train, No. 09471, will depart Bandra Terminus at 9:15 PM on June 20 and arrive at Maninagar at 6:00 AM on June 21. During its journey, the train will stop at Anand, Vishwamitri, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar and Borivali stations in both directions.
Another special service has been arranged for students travelling from the Bhavnagar region. Train No. 09254 will leave Bhavnagar Terminus at 11:40 AM on June 20 and reach Gandhigram at 4:10 PM. The return service, Train No. 09253, will depart Gandhigram at 8:00 PM on June 21 and arrive at Bhavnagar Terminus at 12:35 AM on June 22. The train will halt at Bhavnagar Para, Sihor, Dhola, Botad, Dhandhuka, Dholka, Bavla and Sarkhej stations.
Advisory for Passengers
Western Railway has said that bookings for all the special trains will open on June 19, 2026. Passengers can book tickets through railway reservation counters as well as the IRCTC website. The trains will have both sleeper and general class coaches to accommodate a large number of passengers.

The railway administration stated that these additional services have been introduced keeping in mind the large number of students expected to travel for the re-examination.
