The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced that several power stations will undergo maintenance work from November 24 to November 26. Therefore, many parts of Bengaluru may face power interruptions lasting up to 7 hours. On Monday, November 24, the outage is expected to last around 3 hours,
while on November 25 and 26, the power cut may extend to nearly 7 hours.
BESCOM has requested that residents remain patient and cooperate during this period. As per the notice, power supply may be affected from 9 am to 12 pm on November 24 due to emergency maintenance work at the K.V. Vidya Substation. K.P.D.C.L. Residents will carry out this work in the listed areas might experience frequent interruptions during this time.

Vikas Nagar 8th Mile Road, Havanur Extension, Vidya School and Vidya Bus Stop area, Munikondappa Layout, Vidya Nagar, Manjunath Nagar, Kataraya Nagar, Vijayalakshmi Layout, BTS Layout, Sasweta, Tarapanahalli Main Road, Visvesvaraya Layout (Bhairaveswara Circle), Vinayak Nagar, Shobha Apartment, Ramaiah Layout, Narayana Layout, Kuvembu Nagar, Reliance Fresh surroundings, Ashoka Nagar, Defence Colony, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Soap Factory Layout, Antanappa Layout, Siddheeshwara Layout, Soldenahalli, Hesaragatta Main Road, and Royal Enclave.
Areas connected to the 66/11 kV Abbikere Substation may also face outages on November 24. These include Kammakondanahalli, Raghavendra Padavane, Lakshmipur, Vatherahalli, Abbikere Industrial Area, Pipeline Road, Nisarga Padavane, Kempegowda Padavane, and Kalanagar Main Road.
Scheduled Power Cuts on November 25 & 26
BESCOM will also carry out link line work in the Katsandra division. Because of this, areas around Gandhamachanahalli, such as Hullenahalli, Kalingayyanapalya, Holakallu, Singipalya, Badesaba-Rapalya, Virupasandra, and Veeranaya-Kanahalli, may experience power cuts from 10 am to 5 pm.
BESCOM handles power distribution across eight districts of Karnataka and covers an area of over 41,000 sq km.
