Mangaluru-Madgaon Trains to Undergo Changes on Several Dates in October

Train services on the Konkan Railway route will see changes on several dates in October due to scheduled track maintenance work, which include partial cancellations, changes in the originating station, rescheduling, and regulation of trains.

Train No. 56616 Mangaluru Central-Madgaon Junction Passenger, scheduled to depart from Mangaluru Central on October 1, 8 and 15, will be short-terminated at Karwar. As a result, the section between Karwar and Madgaon Junction will remain cancelled on these three dates.

There will also be a change in the starting point of Train No. 56615 Madgaon Junction-Mangaluru Central Passenger. The train was scheduled to leave Madgaon at 2.15 pm on October 1, 8 and 15. Instead, it will originate from Karwar at 3.24 pm on the same dates. The service between Madgaon Junction and Karwar will remain cancelled.

Train No. 56615 Madgaon Junction-Mangaluru Central Passenger will also run at revised timings on some other October dates. On October 2, 4, 9, 11, 16 and 18, the train will depart from Madgaon at 3.45 pm instead of the scheduled 2.15 pm. This will result in a delay of 1 hour 30 minutes.

On October 6, 13, and 20, the same train will leave Madgaon at 4.55 pm instead of 2.15 pm, causing a delay of 2 hours 40 minutes.

Another service, Train No. 22149 Ernakulam Junction-Pune Junction Bi-Weekly Superfast Express, will also be affected. The train commencing its journey on October 2, 9 and 14 will be delayed en route by 2 hours 20 minutes.

Railway authorities have advised passengers travelling on the affected dates to check the latest train timings before starting their journey and plan their travel accordingly.
