At Mandai, southbound trains go to Swargate; northbound head towards Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Kasba Peth is the next stop north; Swargate is one stop south. Stand by the marked door zones and let passengers alight first. During peak surges, skip one train; the next arrives within minutes. Families should use lifts and keep children close to the platform wall.
Trains operate from 6 am, with regular last services around 11 pm. Peak headway is about 10 minutes; off-peak stretches to 15 minutes. Queues ease faster with mobile QR tickets on the official app. Scan decisively at fare gates and join platform queues early.
Long queues at Mandai? Walk to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) station, about 1.7 kilometres northwest. For older-city errands, Kasba Peth often feels calmer than Mandai. Footpaths near Laxmi Road may be barricaded; follow one-way pedestrian channels. Use zebra crossings only, as police restrict mid-block crossings near chowks.
Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has tweaked core-city routes today; bus interchanges may shift temporarily.
