The Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced that several parts of the city will face a power cut on Tuesday, October 28, due to emergency maintenance work by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). Power will be unavailable for five hours, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in

areas served by the 66/11KV Puttenahalli Substation. Officials stated this maintenance is necessary to ensure a more stable and reliable power supply.

Venkatala, Palanahalli, Kattigenahalli, Century Layout, Anantapur Gate, Air Force, Marasandra, Sriramanahalli, Nelakunte, Honeyyur, Chellahalli, Karlapur Venkatala, Ramki North-1, Maruti Nagar, Prestige Nagar, Maruti Royal Gardens, Kogilu, Pooja Mahalakshmi IO, Saptagiri IO, Prakriti Nagar, Srinivasapur, Ayyappa Enclave, SN Halli, and Mylapanahalli, along with nearby localities.
Power Cut on October 27
Earlier, on Monday, October 27, parts of Bengaluru West Division also faced a power outage from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to scheduled monthly maintenance at the Brigade Meadows Power Distribution Centre. The affected areas included Banjarapalya, Bhairasandra, Hosapalya, MLA Thota, Agara, Siddanapalya, Karadigudde, Abhay College, Navilu Mane, Valley School, Tataguni Colony, Lakshmipura, and nearby regions.
Moreover, BESCOM has announced that its online services, including bill payment, name change, and new connection requests, will not be available from 8 p.m. on October 27 to 11 a.m. on October 28 due to emergency IT maintenance. During this time, official portals and third-party platforms, including the Bescom Mitra App, Bangalore One, and Karnataka One, will also be inactive.
