Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya is being inaugurated during the celebration of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' on 14th April at 11 AM.

Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Prime Minister's Museum in Delhi on Thursday. The Prime Minister's Museum, also known as the Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya, will be inaugurated on the 131st birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution at 11 AM on 14th April 2022. The museum, being inaugurated during the celebration of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', tells the story of post-independence India through the lives and contributions of its Prime Ministers.

Led by Prime Minister Modi himself, it is one of a kind endeavour aimed at motivating India's younger generation about Indian History, leadership, vision and achievements of all our Prime Ministers, the statement said. Illustrating a seamless blend of old and new, the museum will incorporate the erstwhile Teen Murti Bhawan named Block 1 with the newly constructed building designated as Block 2. The total area of ​​the two blocks is more than 15,600 square metres.

  • The Prime Minister's Museum will display archival material, personal items, memorabilia, speeches of Prime Ministers, and anecdotal representations of various aspects and ideologies of the life of Prime Ministers of #India - all reflected in a thematic format.
  • There are a total of 43 galleries in the museum. Starting from the exhibits of the freedom struggle and the framing of the Constitution, the museum narrates the story of how our Prime Ministers led the nation through various challenges and ensured all round progress of the country.
