Southern Railway has announced special trains between Tirupattur, Chinnasalem, and Salem to help students travelling for the NEET re-test. As the re-test is scheduled to be held on Sunday, and the railway has arranged these services mainly to make travel easier for candidates going to exam centres in Salem.

NEET Special Trains by Southern Railway
According to the Salem Railway Division, one special train will run from Tirupattur to Salem. This train will leave Tirupattur at 7:45 am on Sunday and is expected to reach Salem at 10:45 am. Another special train will operate from Chinnasalem to Salem. It will depart from Chinnasalem at 10:00 am and arrive in Salem at 11:20 am.
The railway administration said these trains have been introduced especially for students appearing in the NEET re-test, so that they can reach their centres on time without facing travel problems. Salem is one of the important locations where examination centres have been arranged, and many students from nearby towns are expected to travel there for the test.
