The Mysuru Division of South Western Railway has announced changes to some train services due to safety work being carried out at Hassan Yard, which will affect a few trains on specific dates.

Mysuru Trains
• According to an official statement, train number 16206 Mysuru-Talguppa Express, train number 16205 Talguppa-Mysuru Express, and train number 56267 Arsikere-Mysuru Passenger will be fully cancelled on April 29, May 4, and May 6, 2026. Passengers planning to travel on these trains on these dates are advised to make alternative arrangements.
• Moreover, train number 16225 Mysuru-Shivamogga Town Express will be partially cancelled. It will not run between Mysuru and Arsikere on the same dates-April 29, May 4, and May 6. Instead, the train will start its journey from Arsikere at its usual scheduled departure time.
• Similarly, train number 56266 Mysuru-Arsikere Passenger will also face partial cancellation. This train will not operate between Mavinkere and Arsikere and will instead end its journey at Mavinkere on April 29, May 4, and May 6, 2026.
• Another train, number 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar Express, will not be cancelled but will be delayed. It will be regulated during its journey and may be held for about 65 minutes while passing through the Bengaluru Division on the same dates.
These changes are being made to ensure passenger safety during the maintenance and improvement work at Hassan Yard. Railway authorities have requested passengers to check train schedules in advance and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
