DMRC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sahkar Taxi Cooperative Ltd (STCL) to provide transport services. STCL is a multi-state cooperative society that runs Bharat Taxi, a mobility platform started under the Ministry of Cooperation, and focuses on offering cooperative-based transport services with clear and transparent pricing. As

per the agreement, STCL will provide bike taxi, auto-rickshaw, and cab services through an aggregator model at 10 metro stations.
The app integration will help passengers easily find last-mile transport options at metro stations, check fares, track vehicles, and complete their trips smoothly. This digital system is expected to increase transparency, cut waiting time, and make services more reliable for metro users, according to a Delhi Metro official.
List of Delhi Metro Stations
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will start providing bike taxis, auto-rickshaws, and cab services from January 31 to reduce waiting time and offer smoother travel options for daily commuters. It will start its services mainly at ten stations for the time being, including New Delhi, Millennium City Centre, Lajpat Nagar, Hauz Khas, Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Botanical Garden, Vaishali, Sikandarpur, and Nehru Place.
First Two Stations to Provide Services
According to Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director of Corporate Communications at DMRC, bike taxi services will be introduced at two metro stations as part of a pilot project. The selected stations are Millennium City Centre and Botanical Garden, and the service will begin on January 31. He explained that this trial run will help DMRC understand how commuters respond to the service, check how smoothly it operates, and evaluate its overall effectiveness before deciding whether to expand the service to more metro stations.
