Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
The journey begins with your arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station. You will be picked up and dropped at your hotel in Guwahati for an overnight stay. Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India, is known for its ancient temples and vibrant culture.
Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong
After breakfast, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, a major pilgrimage site. Then, proceed to Shillong, also known as the "Scotland of the East." On the way, stop at Umium Lake, a picturesque spot perfect for taking photos. Upon reaching Shillong, visit Ward's Lake and Lady Hyderi Park before checking into your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Excursion to Cherrapunjee
Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth, is your destination for the day. Visit attractions like Elephanta Falls, Dwan Syiem viewpoint, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, and Seven Sister Falls. Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Shillong to Dawki and Mawlynnong
Start your day with a trip to Dawki, located near the Bangladesh border, where you can see the stunningly clear Umngot River. Next, visit Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. The village is known for its cleanliness, living root bridges, and vibrant community life. Return to Shillong for the night.
Day 5: Shillong to Kaziranga
After breakfast, head to Kaziranga, home to the famous one-horned rhinoceros. The drive is long, but the scenic views along the way are worth it. On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy some leisure time.
Day 6: Kaziranga National Park and Return to Guwahati

Day 7: Departure from Guwahati
