A feasibility study is currently being carried out for a new metro line in Gurugram that may connect MG Road to Sector 95, which is expected to pass through key locations such as Sohna Bus Stand, Umang Bhardwaj Chowk, Gadoli, Global City, Vision City in Sector 88, Sector 92, and finally Sector 95 near Wallzirpur. Officials said the study is being conducted to examine whether the corridor is practical and how it can be planned.

Gurugram Metro Feasibility Study
The work is being done by RITES India Ltd, which is already preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Bhondsi to Gurugram Railway Station metro corridor. As part of the study, RITES has asked the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority for several planning and road-related details needed to prepare the DPR. These include road width and right-of-way plans along Pataudi Road from Sohna Adda Chowk to Gadoli, layout plans of Vision City and Sector 88, details of the cloverleaf interchange at the Global City-Dwarka Expressway junction, and the master plan of Global City.
Other Gurugram Metro Corridors
RITES has also requested sector plans for several other areas, including Sectors 62 to 67A, revenue maps of Sector 66, and right-of-way details for other metro routes such as the Bhondsi-Railway Station and Golf Course Extension Road-Sector 5 corridors. In addition, it has asked for information on proposed infrastructure works like the cloverleaf at Vatika Chowk, the elevated road from Vatika Chowk to Kherki Daula, the flyover from Ghata village to Vatika Chowk, and the underpass and flyover at Bakhtawar Chowk.
According to a senior GMDA official, RITES recently presented a tentative alignment for the Bhondsi-Railway Station metro route and also discussed alternate route options. Another senior official from Gurugram Metro Rail Limited said the Bhondsi-Railway Station corridor may need to be built underground because it passes through some of Gurugram's busiest roads. The new feasibility study also shows that RITES' role has expanded beyond the earlier Bhondsi-Railway Station project.
