The government of Haryana will run metro trains on the same track that will be used by the Namo Bharat service between Gurugram and Greater Noida. The proposed route will include several stations in both Gurugram and Faridabad. According to officials, the line will have eight stations in Gurugram and

ten stations in Faridabad. The Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) has suggested this plan to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). It has asked NCRTC to include the proposal in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the corridor.
Metro Stations to be Connected with Namo Bharat Stations
Under the plan, metro stations will be connected with Namo Bharat stations at important locations to make travel easier for commuters. One of the major interchange stations will be at Ifco Chowk in Gurugram. This station will link the Namo Bharat service to the metro system and also connect with the existing metro line, allowing passengers to switch easily between services.
Metro Stations in Gurugram
Other proposed metro stations in Gurugram will be located at Sector-29, Millennium City Centre, Sector-52, Wajirabad, and Sector-57. Another important interchange station is planned at Sector-61. This station will connect to the proposed metro line that will run from Sector-56 to Pachgaon.
Faridabad Metro
In Faridabad, the metro is planned to operate on a 16-kilometre stretch of the Namo Bharat corridor, starting from Sainik Colony and extending up to Badshahpur. The first metro station in the Faridabad section will be located at Sainik Colony. The new metro service is expected to improve connectivity for residents and daily commuters in the area. It will also encourage people to use public transport instead of private vehicles, which may help reduce traffic congestion.
Installation of Noise Control Systems
Since Namo Bharat trains can run at very high speeds of around 160 to 180 kilometres per hour, there are concerns about noise pollution along the corridor. To address this issue, HMRTC has requested NCRTC to install noise-barrier systems along the route, especially in areas where many people live. These barriers will help reduce the level of noise experienced by residents living near the railway track.
