The DMRC highlighted this concern on social media, explaining that kite strings could easily become entangled in the OHE wires or even in the pantograph, the equipment that draws power from the wires. This can cause power disruptions, damage to the equipment, and even pose a risk of electrocution, especially if metallic kite strings are used.
