Residents across parts of Delhi may experience temporary electricity disruptions today, June 23, as power distribution agencies carry out scheduled maintenance, transformer replacement, LT circuit upgrades, RMU operations and network strengthening work across multiple divisions.
According to the scheduled outage plan, power interruptions are expected across West Delhi, South Delhi and South-West Delhi zones. Authorities have said the shutdowns are part of preventive maintenance measures aimed at improving reliability and reducing unplanned outages during periods of high electricity demand.
Areas Expected To Face Power Cuts Today
The scheduled outages will impact localities under Mundka, Nangloi, Palam, Khanpur, Alaknanda, Jafarpur and Mohan Garden divisions, with outage durations ranging from around one hour to four hours depending on the maintenance work.
1. BSES - West Delhi (Mundka)
- Timing: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Affected areas:
- Mundka Industrial Area
- Mundka Extension
Additional scheduled work:
- LT ACB replacement in Mundka Extension (9:06 AM-11:06 AM)
- Transformer civil work in Friends Colony (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
2. BSES - West Delhi (Nangloi)

Transformer replacement and maintenance activities are planned in the area.

7. Mohan Garden Division
