Chennai electricity authorities have announced a planned power outage on Tuesday, 10 February 2026 in several parts of the city. Why This Outage Is Happening
The scheduled shutdown is part of routine maintenance and infrastructure work being carried out by TANGEDCO. Such shutdowns help technicians inspect and repair damaged lines, upgrade equipment and carry out other work that can't be done while electricity is live.
