PM Narendra Modi is set to launch projects worth nearly Rs 69,000 crore, with a substantial focus on the coal and power sector, totaling at least Rs 58,000 crore. NTPC and NLC India's Mega Power Plant Projects
The projects include the inauguration of three power plants by NTPC Ltd and one by NLC India Ltd. Among the highlights are the Darlipali Super Thermal Power Station (2x800 MW), the NSPCL Rourkela PP Expansion Project (1x250 MW), and the laying of the foundation stone for NTPC's Talcher Thermal Power Project (2x660 MW). Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate the Talabira Thermal Power Project (3 x 800 MW) by NLC India, which is set to be the largest thermal power plant under the Ministry of Coal, featuring a planned capacity of 3,200 MW.
