According to the latest update, nearly 35 areas across the city will witness temporary disruption in electricity supply for durations ranging from two to six hours.

The electricity department has requested residents to cooperate during the maintenance process. Since the outages are scheduled in advance, citizens are advised to make necessary arrangements, particularly considering the ongoing summer heat in the city.
With temperatures remaining high in Bhopal during May, even short-duration outages can impact cooling systems and water supply in residential societies. People working from home and students attending online classes may also experience inconvenience during the scheduled shutdown hours.
The maintenance exercise is expected to help strengthen the local electricity network and reduce the possibility of unexpected breakdowns in the coming weeks.
