Residents in several parts of Bhopal should prepare for a scheduled power shutdown on Friday, June 19, 2026, as electricity authorities have announced temporary supply interruptions due to construction and line maintenance work.
The planned outage is expected to affect multiple residential and commercial pockets across the city for two to four hours, depending on the maintenance schedule. Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to complete essential work in advance and make arrangements for backup power where required.

Why Is There a Power Cut in Bhopal?
According to the scheduled maintenance notice, electricity supply will remain suspended in selected areas to facilitate:

- Routine line maintenance and infrastructure work
