Several parts of Bengaluru are set to witness scheduled power interruptions on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) undertakes quarterly maintenance and infrastructure-related works. The planned shutdowns are expected to affect supply for up to seven hours in selected localities, with timings varying by zone.
Residents in affected areas are advised to complete essential charging, water storage and work arrangements ahead of the shutdown window.
Why Is There A Power Cut In Bengaluru Today?
According to the announced schedule, maintenance activities are being carried out across selected BESCOM and KPTCL-linked infrastructure networks. The interruptions have been planned to support system upkeep and improve reliability.
Power outages are scheduled across different slots including:
- 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Some shutdowns are linked to maintenance work being executed by KPTCL.

- Talakaveri Layout, Amruthahalli, BGS Layout, Navyanagar Block, Batarayanapura, Jakkur Layout, GKVK Layout, Amrutha Nagar, Sampigehalli, Hosahalli, Rajajinagar, Shivanagar, Manjunathanagar, Agrahara Dasarahalli, Gayatri Nagar and Subramanya Nagar.
Supply interruptions are also expected in portions connected to the Sahakaranagar Sub-station area, where shutdown duration may extend until 4 PM.

- Banagirinagar, Papaiah Garden, Balaji Kalyana Mantapa surroundings, Siddamma and Siddiah Reddy area, South 9th Sub Divisional Office belt, Jayanagar Divisional Office area, 30th Main, 30th Cross, B.N.M. College surroundings, B.D.A. Complex, Devagiri Temple stretch, B.S.N.L. Office area, Banashankari 2nd Stage, SLV Hotel to 24th Cross, Upahara Hotel surroundings, Channammanakere Achukattu, Manjunath Colony, BMTC-connected pockets and Rajiv Nagar.
