Air India Express has launched a flash sale, offering fares starting at Rs 1,037 under its Xpress Lite category. This sale is available for bookings made until August 25, 2024, and covers travel between August 26 and October 24, 2024.
The flash sale includes various domestic routes and special fares across the airline's network of 32 domestic destinations. The Xpress Value fares start at Rs 1,195. Additionally, the airline has waived the convenience fee for logged-in members booking through its website or mobile app.
Exclusive Benefits for Travellers
Travellers opting for the Xpress Lite fare can enjoy zero check-in baggage fees. They also have the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg of cabin baggage at no extra cost. For check-in baggage, there is a discounted fee of ₹1000 for 15 kg on domestic flights and ₹1300 for 20 kg on international flights.
Loyalty members of Air India Express receive exclusive discounts and can earn up to 8% NeuCoins on bookings made through the airline's website. Additional perks include up to 47% off Biz and Prime Seats, 'Gourmair’ hot meals and beverages, and add-on packs.
Special Discounts for Specific Groups
Students, senior citizens, SMEs, doctors and nurses, as well as members of the armed forces and their dependents can also avail special discounted fares on the airline’s website. These discounts aim to make travel more affordable for these groups.
The airline's Xpress Biz fares are available on its new Boeing 737-8 aircraft. These seats offer a Business Class equivalent experience with a seat pitch of up to 58 inches. This move signifies a shift from the traditional low-cost carrier model to a hybrid value carrier under its refreshed brand identity "Fly As You Are."
Fleet Expansion and New Aircraft
Air India Express is rapidly expanding its fleet by inducting nearly four new aircraft every month. Since its brand launch in October 2023, over 30 new aircraft have been added, each featuring four to eight Biz seats.
