Metro to Reach Gandhinagar Secretariat Soon
By next month, the metro will extend to the Secretariat in Gandhinagar. This will give government employees and visitors a quick and easy way to reach the state's top offices. Circular Metro Route for Ahmedabad
The plan also includes a circular metro line around Ahmedabad, similar to the existing Ring Road. One of the major stops will be near Sanathal, which will offer direct metro service to the upcoming Dholera Airport. A special train will also run between the city and the airport, making travel easier for flyers.
More Than 40 New Metro Stations
The circular route will have over 40 new metro stations. It will also connect the current North-South and East-West metro lines. Metro to Boost Sports and Travel
To support upcoming sports events like the Olympic Games, the government will run metro lines next to the Sardar Patel Ring Road. Metro Plans for Rajkot and Vadodara

The project's first phase will need about Rs 12,000 crore, which includes the cost for land, reports, and infrastructure work.
