Good news for train travellers in Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh! The much-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Gorakhpur and Patna is all set to start from June 20. The Indian Railways has announced that the new service will be flagged off with a special ceremony in Patna. Work is being done quickly to make sure everything is ready before the launch day.

New Train Route and Schedule
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav confirmed the news during his recent visit to Gorakhpur and Bettiah. The train will travel from Gorakhpur to Patna via Bettiah, Narkatiyaganj, and Muzaffarpur. It will start its journey at 6 AM from Gorakhpur and return by 9:30 PM the same day.
With this new connection, people will be able to move between these important cities much more comfortably and quickly than before.
Modern Features at Affordable Prices
The Vande Bharat Express will offer a modern and pleasant experience for passengers. Ticket prices have been fixed at Rs 600 from Patna to Gorakhpur and Rs 480 from Muzaffarpur to Gorakhpur. These prices are reasonable, especially considering the train's high-quality features.
Passengers can expect comfortable seats, fast services, and catering on board. The train will have eight coaches, which are currently being cleaned and prepared. Before the official start, a trial run will be held to check the train's performance. The train will be sent to Patna once the testing is successfully completed.
