Parad Shivling or Mercury Shivling, weighing around 150 kg, is enshrined in the Harihar Ashram in Kankhal. It is situated at a distance of about 2 km from Haridwar and is thronged by huge numbers of devotees every year. The ashram also has a Rudraksha tree, which is a major attraction of the place.
