Chandrabadani Temple is one of the noted religious centres of Devprayag. The temple is devoted to the Hindu Goddess Sati, who is popularly known as the Goddess of Power. There is a statue of the goddess placed inside the sanctum. According to a legend, the torso of the Goddess fell here, as a result of which all her weapons scattered at the place.
Travellers can see several ancient idols and iron trishuls or tridents outside the temple. Besides, travellers can also enjoy views of the beautiful peaks of Badrinath, Kedarnath and Sirkanda from here.
