St. Francis' Church, Dalhousie

St. Francis' Church, constructed in the year 1894, is one of the recommended tourist spots of Dalhousie. The architecture of the building is kept in accordance with that of the famous Church of England. The capital required for building this church was raised by army officers and civilians of the area. Maintenance and management of the church is handled by the Catholic diocese of Jalandhar. The decor of the church, with its sophisticated glass work and stone-studded walls, is one of its main attractions.

Every Sunday, a mass is organised by the church which is attended by several people.This church is located near Subhash Chowk, which is situated at a distance of 1 km from Dalhousie. Travellers can avail buses or taxis or take a walk up to the church. It takes at least an hour for complete exploration of the church.
