Chobia Pass, Dalhousie

Chobia Pass is situated between two minor peaks, Bara Kanda Peak and Tent Peak, at the elevation of 5877 and 6133 m respectively. The pass is located in the village of Bharmour at an elevation of 5000 m above sea level. The location allows for a panoramic view of the ranges of Zanskar and Manimahesh lying in the north and south respectively. This pass proves as an excellent acclimatisation trek for those planning to attempt the arduous Kang La Pass. It is advised that only experienced trekkers take on this path.
