RBI monetary museum, Mumbai
The Reserve Bank of India, India's Central banking institution, aims at documenting and preserving the monetary history of India. According to the RBI, the museum aims to exhibit the money through various phases of Indian history and also aims at stimulating research and study on the evolution of money around the Indian ocean.

Nizam's museum, Hyderabad
Lesser known than the famous Salarjung museum, Nizam Museum or H.E.H Nizam's Museum is a museum located in Hyderabad. Popularly known as Purani Haveli, this was a palace of the erstwhile Nizams and the museum showcases the gifts received by the last Nizam of Hyderabad. Among the attractions are a 1930 Rolls Royce, 200 year-old proclamation drums and a 150 -year-old manually operated lift. The museum was opened on February 18, 2000 by the Nizam Trust to the general public.

Heritage transport Museum, Gurgaon
Sprawling across four levels, the Heritage transport museum on the outskirts of Delhi showcases the evolution of transportation in India and contains everything from sophisticated engine powered cars to humble hand drawn carts.

Static and working models, signaling equipments, antique furnitures, historical photographs and related literature are displayed in the museum. Don't forget to check out the star attraction - The Faery Queen built in 1855 , the best preserved steam locomotive engine of her age. Other noteworthy coachs include the Prince of Wales(1875) and the Mharaja of Mysore's saloon(1899).
