It takes around 7 hours to reach Bangalore on NH7 if you leave very early in the morning. Hyderabad to Bangalore covers a distance of 570 km. From NH7 take the Nelamangla bypass and get on to NICE road to save time. You should be in Mysore for late lunch.

Take the picturesque route to Ooty via Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary. At Theppakadu, you could either take the shorter route via Masinagudi or you could take the longer route via Gudalur. The Masinagudi route has 36 hair pin bends. So the choice is still yours to cover this stretch of nearly 225 km.

You should also visit the charming Ooty Rose Gardens.
